Last year, the IAONC SIG established focused subgroups targeting key priority areas. The Assessment & Triage Subgroup, co-led by Dragana Ostojic-Aitkens, PhD, C.Psych, and Marie-Eve Bolduc, PhD, OT, is currently the most active. The subgroup’s primary focus at this time is developing structured triage pathways to support clinical decision-making across developmental stages, with two models currently being finalized for infant–toddler and school-age populations. Next steps include piloting these models across select programs and preparing a manuscript to promote dissemination and implementation across CNOC sites.
Additionally, IAONC SIG members, in partnership with members of the Program Coordinators SIG, will be co-leading an interactive breakout session at the CNOC Annual Scientific Sessions titled Starting Strong, Growing Smart: Collaborative Pathways to Successful and Sustainable Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Programs. The session will feature perspectives from programs at different stages of development and include opportunities for shared problem-solving and collaboration. We hope you’ll join us for this session.
