The Education Liaisons (EL) SIG welcomes Sarah Johnson, MS as Education Liaison SIG Co Chair (transitioning early from EL SIG Vice Chair) and Sarah Mester, MEd as the new Vice Chair. We appreciate the leadership and contributions they bring to CNOC.
The EL SIG has completed an initial survey of CNOC member institutions on how education is supported for patients with CHD within neurodevelopmental programs. They are now collecting data from a second survey focused on the role and funding of education liaisons who work with broader patient populations. Results and key findings will be shared with the CNOC community.
The EL SIG continues to welcome members who serve as education liaisons at their institutions or who are interested in advancing educational outcomes for children with CHD. For more information on the SIG activities, please see their website or email co chairs Roberta Rossman MEd MSW LSW or Sarah Johnson, MS.
