The Annual Scientific Sessions of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative is an interdisciplinary conference for all providers involved in the care of children and young adults with congenital heart disease, including cardiologists, psychologists, neurologists, nurses, therapists, educators and families.
Registration is open for the 14th Annual Scientific Sessions hosted by Nemour’s Children’s Hospital from September 16-18, 2026 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware.
Conference Highlights:
Pre-Conference Workshop: “Advocacy in Action: Building a National Voice for Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Care”. This interactive workshop will bring together providers, researchers, and families to align around a shared advocacy agenda for CHD, with a focus on neurodevelopmental outcomes. Hosted by Every 100th Heart in partnership with CNOC, the session will explore how clinical research, patient experience, and federal policy intersect to shape outcomes for CHD patients.
Breakout Sessions are back with virtual capabilities for all sessions. With 3 exciting options it will be hard to pick just one!
- Clinical Value: “Starting Strong, Growing Smart: Collaborative Pathways to Successful and Sustainable Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Programs” This interactive workshop brings together clinicians, coordinators, and program leaders to explore practical strategies for developing, expanding, and sustaining outpatient cardiac neurodevelopmental programs.
- “Research Frontier: Connecting Your Questions to Collaboration” Turn your clinical observations into high-impact projects through this dynamic, fast-paced “speed-networking” session designed to accelerate your research or quality improvement (QI) journey. Whether you are a trainee looking for your first mentor or a seasoned clinician ready to launch a multicenter trial, this breakout provides the direct access and expertise needed to move your ideas forward.
- Cardiac Newborn Neuroprotective Network (CN3) presents “Think-Tank” The CN3 Think Tank is a high-impact breakout session dedicated to the power of “local” ideas. Grassroot projects that are having impact at the single institution level will be presented to a panel of neurodevelopmental leaders. These presenters will receive direct, expert feedback and networking support to address barriers and refine their process. Through audience participation and networking, projects will be evaluated for potential multi-institutional CN3 supported initiatives.
