Identification of Implementation Strategies to Support a Universal Approach
CNOC is excited to announce that the multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional team led by Primary Investigator Amy Jo Lisanti has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 CNOC Investigator Award. Their project, titled “Current State of Parent Mental Health Screening in Congenital Heart Disease and Identification of Implementation Strategies to Support a Universal Approach” will utilize CNOC registry data as well as input from CNOC members to better understand barriers to parental mental health screening, identify factors associated with parent mental health status, and identify implementation strategies to increase mental health screening and support mechanisms. Dr. Lisanti invites sites collecting parent mental health screening using the DASS-21 to enter their data into the CNOC registry by June 30,2026. Sites contributing at least 50 DASS-21 entries will be invited to have a site representative co-author the paper describing the analysis of registry data.
